Kazerun Combined Cycle Power Plant

The power plant is located on a 100-hectare plot of land in the 12-kilometer section of Farashband Road, southeast of Kazerun. The first phase of the MW701D Japan Mitsubishi Pipeline plant was commissioned in the summer of 1994. The second phase started in the winter of 2000 with the installation of four gas units, model V94.2, manufactured by Iran-Italy and entered the circuit in 2002 and 2003. The nominal power of Mitsubishi units at ISO 128.5 and V94.2 units is 159 MW, with a total rated capacity of 893 MW. It is worth noting that the first gas turbine and Iran's first generator is installed at the plant. The third phase of the plant consists of three steam units each with a capacity of 160 MW of Iran-Germany joint product, the first of which was commissioned in late 2006 and two more in 2007. After the steam units entered the nominal power circuit, the plant has now reached 1,373 MW
